Energy storage—whether standalone or paired with solar—can provide a number of customer, grid, and environmental benefits thanks to its unique operating capabilities, particularly its flexibility. In order to enable the controlled import and export of storage, interconnection rules must be updated with several key provisions, including acceptable export control methods, new screens in the interconnection review process, and the ability for interconnection customers to modify their system design to mitigate grid impacts.

Mitigating an Unnatural Disaster: Auxin Circumvention Case Update
