From raw materials to finished products, American factories cover many critical steps of the solar and storage supply chain. Over the past few years, manufacturers have been focused on growth, with new factories being built across the U.S. The result is a more resilient and secure supply chain at exactly the right moment, as the U.S. races to meet surging electricity demand.

SEIA represents the largest coalition of manufacturers focused on the solar and battery storage industry. SEIA’s advocacy on behalf of the domestic manufacturing industry spans tax, regulatory, and trade related work. Our advocacy efforts are not about picking winners or losers or favoring domestic products over imports. Rather, it is a recognition that a strong manufacturing base is good for America’s national security and economic well-being.
