On February 25th, the House of Representatives passed a budget resolution to extend tax cuts, cut federal spending, and address the debt limit. This signals the first major step in what is known as the reconciliation process, which involves committees in both chambers of Congress developing proposals that would ultimately go into legislation for signature by President Trump.
