San Diego Rate Case Decision Sends Wrong Signal to Solar Customers and Companies
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. - Today, the California Public Utilities Commission voted to adopt San Diego’s General Rate Case after revising the decision earlier this month. The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the California Solar Energy Industries Association (CALSEIA) both criticized the decision as unsupported by the facts in the case, inconsistent with the state’s policies, and detrimental to solar customers.

SEIA: Trade Case Petitioners Brought Collapse of Businesses on Themselves
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Suniva and SolarWorld have failed to show that a rising level of imports caused them serious injury and left them unable to compete in the U.S. market, the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and others stated in pre-hearing written arguments to the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). If the ITC agrees with SEIA’s arguments, such a failure would result in an ITC finding of no injury, ending the case.

SEIA Testimony Urges Mass. DOER to Make Changes to Final SMART Regulations To Protect Solar Jobs
Today, the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) in comments and oral testimony urged the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) to make several changes to its proposed new solar incentive program to ensure the Commonwealth protects solar jobs. The Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) program proposed by DOER would replace one of the state’s central solar policies, and is expected to be implemented next year.
