WASHINGTON, D.C. and LANSING, MI – Environmental and community organizations today are calling for Michigan’s Public Service Commission to reject the proposed long-term energy plan from DTE following testimony from experts revealing how DTE’s plan will hold back a transition to cleaner, more affordable energy. Experts ranging from energy economists, renewable experts, and health professionals submitted testimony detailing significant flaws in DTE’s proposal.
SEIA Negotiates Agreement to Approve 584 MW of Michigan Solar Projects Under PURPA
WASHINGTON, DC — Today the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), Consumers Energy, and a broad coalition of stakeholders filed a settlement agreement with the Michigan Public Service Commission that resolves concerns related to the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA). House and Senate Introduce Legislation for 5-Year Extension of the Solar Investment Tax Credit
Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) and Representatives Mike Thompson (D-CA), Paul Cook (R-CA), and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) today introduced companion bills with a five-year 30% extension of Section 48 and Section 25D Solar Investment Tax Credits (ITC). The Renewable Energy Extension Act will call for the extension of the tax credits.
Corporate Solar Investments Surge in United States, Report Finds
