Three cheers for solar in Florida! Amendment 4 officially passed on August 30. We found the magic policy lever and now Floridians will begin reaping the benefits of low cost, clean solar energy. You can expect to see solar projects popping up all over the sunshine state, right? Not exactly. In fact, the fight is just beginning for the future of solar energy in Florida.

CAISO Expansion Supports Jobs, the Economy and Renewable Energy Across the West

This week marked an important step toward a West powered by renewable energy.The California Independent System Operator (CAISO) released market studies on Tuesday showing that expanding the grid manager’s territory into other Western states would create $1.5 billion in annual net benefits to California ratepayers.
