Valley Children’s Healthcare in California began construction on a solar-and-storage microgrid that will cover 80% of the hospital’s energy needs. This will save the hospital $15 million over the next 25 years and will ensure the hospital remains fully functional at all times, even during regional power outages.

100 Year Old Orange Orchard is Self-Sufficient With Solar

Villa Park Orchard Association installed a solar array at their Strathmore facility that will make their whole operation almost entirely self-sufficient. This makes the oranges, lemons, and grapefruits they grow pack a solar powered punch!

Yucaipta Valley Water District Solar Plus Storage to Save Californians Over $70 Million

The Yucaipa Valley Water District is installing a clean energy water and wastewater project. There will be 7 MW of solar and 3.3 MW of storage providing electricity to the wastewater facility and it will generate an estimated $73 million in net savings over 28 years.

This facility represents a multi-million dollar investment between the two companies. The steel trackers represent a key component in solar projects and has created many new jobs making a product for the American market.

Six Flags Magic Mountain To Offset All Electricity Consumption With Onsite Solar Plus Storage

The Six Flags Park in Santa Clarita built a 12.4 MW solar carport over their parking lot and pair with a nearly 2 MWh storage system. This will generate 20.8 million kWh annually and offset 100% of Six Flags’ energy usage.

Tustin Synagogue Receives $100,000 for Solar Carport

Congregation B’nai Israel received a $100,000 no interest loan for a solar carport. This will help the synagogue lower their electricity bills and funding comes from the Jewish Community Foundation Orange County.

Building in Corona to Save Thousands with SolarCraft’s Solar Installation

Cal Ave Partners recently completed a 261 kW solar project. This rooftop project will lead to significant savings for the building and provide enough power each day for over 100 homes.

Lincoln has partnered with an American renewable energy company to build solar structures around the city. This includes structures at the City Hall and Community Center Parking lots, as well as McBean Park’s pickleball court. These projects will save the city $26.4 million in 30 year net savings.

South Tahoe Wastewater Treatment Plant Saves Taxpayers Millions With Solar

The South Tahoe Public Utility District is building a 1339 kW solar project to power their wastewater treatment plant. This project will save taxpayers $5-10 million and slash carbon emissions.

Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base Uses Solar Plus Storage For Cheap electricity and Emergency Power

The Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training base opened a 31 MW solar project and paired it with a 41 MWh energy storage system. This will reduce electricity costs while also providing backup power to the base during emergencies for up to 14 days. This will help with natural disaster response and military training for the base.

Samueli Academy in Santa Ana Welcomes Students Back to School With New Solar Project

Samueli Academy in Santa Ana commissioned a 590 kW solar project that spans 5 carports and 6 rooftops. This project will save the school district $205,000 in savings in just the first year and add up to millions in savings over the project's 30 year lifespan.

San Diego County Deputy Sheriff’s Association’s Solar Panels Will Save Thousands per Year

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Association added rooftop solar panels. These panels will pay for themselves in three years and save the Sheriff’s Association thousands per year in electricity costs

Madera Glass Manufacturer to Reduce Electricity Bills Thanks to Rooftop Solar

Ardagh Glass Packaging paired with California based VALTA Energy to build a 10 MW rooftop solar project. This will help meet about 25% of the glass container manufacturer’s electricity demand.

Walnut and Almond Farm in Gustine Powered by 589 kW Solar Project

Iyer Farms in Gustine installed a 589 kW solar system. This will help the walnut, almond, and cherry producer cut costs and emissions.

Adelanto Community Solar Project Sets Example for Southern California

The Sheep Creek Community Solar Farm in Adelanto became one of the first community solar projects to go online in Southern California. The 3,800 kW project will provide low cost, clean electricity to over 240 customers.

Modesto County School District Installs Solar Carports

The Modesto County School District is installing multiple solar carports at various schools across the district. This will amount to 70% of the electrical need at each school and provide electricity for the district’s new electric bus fleet.

Frito Lay Builds Onsite Electricity Generation in Modesto

Frito Lay’s manufacturing facility and warehouse in Modesto California announced the completion of an onsite solar and storage project. The new solar carport will provide 1,000 kW of power and supply 20% of the facility’s electricity supply.

Somerset Winery Uses Solar Fence for Unique Agrivoltaic Project

A vineyard in Somerset has installed a unique 19.3 kW project. The vineyard uses vertical panels to provide the electricity it needs while also preserving the vineyards grapevines.

Placentia Bakery Saves With Solar Microgrid

Bimbo Bakeries selected their Planectia plant as one of six bakeries around California to use a solar plus storage microgrid. This will save the bakery an estimated 20% on energy costs, helping reduce the cost of food for Americans.

Clovis Rodeo Grounds Goes Wild for Solar

The Clovis Rodeo Grounds added 136 solar panels on existing structures as part of a recent expansion. The panels will generate a monthly energy savings of more than 90%.

Moonlight Dairy in Visalia Runs on Sunlight With 1 MW Project

Moonlight Dairy based out of Visalia, uses a 1 MW project to power their operations. This will reduce electricity costs and lower operational costs for the dairy farmers.

Bakersfield City Police Department and Mesa Marin Sports Complex Save $9 Million With Solar

The City of Bakersfield installed solar carports at five sites around the city, including the Bakersfield Police Department HQ and the Mesa Marin Sports Complex. These carports will generate 3.4 million kWh of electricity and save taxpayers $9 million annually.

Brea Saves $13 Million With Solar on Public Buildings

The City of Brea installed a combined 1,800 kW project at the Civic Center, Reservoir Pump Yard, and the Community Center. This will reduce utility costs for the city by 40% and save Brea’s taxpayers $13 million over the project’s lifetime.

Kern County Solar Project Becomes Largest Solar Plus Storage Project in the World

The Edwards & Sanborn solar-plus-storage project becomes the largest online solar-and-storage project. The site uses American made solar modules and provides electricity to the Edwards Air Force Base.

The Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians near Alpine received nearly $73 million to build a solar-and-storage microgrid. This will include a 15 MW solar project and 70 MWh storage project and will create 250 union construction jobs.
