As the world focuses on the Russian invasion of Ukraine and every day Americans start feeling the impacts of this conflict, there is growing consensus that we can no longer rely on foreign adversaries for our energy needs.  If we want to diversify our energy sources and reinforce American energy independence, encouraging solar and storage deployment and investing in domestic manufacturing is the best opportunity we have to double down on clean, and reliable energy.

Meritless Circumvention Petition Threatens to Hurt U.S. Clean Energy Deployment

Last month, Auxin Solar filed a self-interested circumvention petition that could undermine America’s progress towards its clean energy goals. In response, over 200 solar companies came together to urge the U.S. Department of Commerce to reject this frivolous petition without delay.

USITC Recommends Extension of Ineffective Solar Tariffs, Decision Rests With President Biden

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today the U.S. International Trade Commission recommended an extension of Section 201 global safeguard tariffs on solar cells and modules.
