Solar Industry Commends Maine for Making Major Moves on Renewable Energy

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Maine Legislature recently passed three clean energy bills, including a renewable portfolio standard that requires the state to get 80% of its electricity from renewable energy by 2030 and 100% by 2050. Solar Industry Urges New York Public Service Commission to Swiftly Adopt VDER Recommendations

WASHINGTON, D.C. and ALBANY, N.Y. – Today, a coalition of clean energy organizations, led by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), filed supportive comments on the New York Department of Public Service’s (DPS) white paper regarding the future of large commercial solar and community solar projects. Coalition Rolls Out 100 Day Clean Energy Agenda for 2019

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A coalition of solar industry groups, conservation organizations, and clean energy advocates announced today the release of a 100 Day Clean Energy Agenda, calling on state lawmakers to pass a suite of policies in the first 100 Days of 2019 that will inject competition into South Carolina’s energy sector. The campaign will include over 750,000 contacts across key legislative districts in every region of the state in order to stress the need for legislative action by April 10 – the 100th day of 2019.
