美国太阳能行业协会谴责商务部关于对中国太阳能电池组件实施反倾销关税的决定

华盛顿特区 —— 随着与中国太阳能贸易战的进一步升级,美国商务部于当地时间7月25日决定将对从中国进口的太阳能电池组件加收新的反倾销关税,并且第一次将关税范围扩大至台湾生产的电池片。商务部宣布将立即开始向中国和台湾的输美光伏产品征收反倾销税,额度分别为对中国大部分制造商征收26.33%至58.87%,向台湾制造商征收27.59%至44.18%的反倾销关税。美国太阳能行业协会总裁兼首席执行官罗纳•雷希对商务部的此次反倾销初裁决定表示强烈地谴责。

SEIA Condemns Decision to Impose New Tariffs on Solar Modules

In a further escalation of the solar trade war with China, the U.S. Department of Commerce has imposed yet another layer of tariffs on solar modules from China, and – for the first time – on imports from Taiwan. In a decision announced today, Commerce will immediately impose antidumping duties ranging from 26.33 to 58.87 percent for China and 27.59 to 44.18 percent for Taiwan. Rhone Resch, president and CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) was quick to condemn the decision.

华盛顿特区 – 美国太阳能产业协会(SEIA)表示,美商务部在日前作出的针对中国太阳能电池组件征收新关税的决策,将会直接威胁到美国太阳能产业的迅速增长。 美国商务部初步认定,中国出口到美国的晶体硅光伏产品获得超额政府补贴,补贴幅度为18.56%至35.21%。基于补贴幅度的初裁结果,美国商务部将将立即通知美国海关对中国出口的上述产品征收相应的反补贴税。

Commerce Solar Trade Decision Adds Urgency to Industry Discussions

Today’s decision by the U.S. Department of Commerce to impose new tariffs on solar modules from China threatens to derail the rapid growth of the U.S. solar industry, according to the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). Commerce will immediately impose countervailing duty tariffs ranging from 18.56 to 35.21 percent.

SEIA Offers Industry Proposal to End U.S-China Solar Dispute

With no end in sight to the ongoing solar trade dispute between the United States and China, the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) is offering an industry compromise between the U.S. and Chinese solar industries, which could serve as the centerpiece for a fair, negotiated settlement of outstanding issues, benefit end users, and encourage the proliferation of solar energy in the United States and globally.
