Vinnetta Raines
Senior Accountant
Vinnetta Raines is the Senior Accountant for SEIA.
Born and raised in Southeastern part of Washington, DC, Vinnetta graduated from Benjamin Banneker Academic High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina A&T State University. Following graduation, she relocated to New York City, where she spent eight years building her accounting career. She has worked with leading public accounting firms, premier professional sports organizations and purpose driven nonprofit organizations, gaining experience in financial statement audits, financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations.
After returning to the Washington, DC, area, Vinnetta completed a Master of Science in Accounting from Strayer University and continued her accounting career, while building a life with her family in Maryland. She and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters. As a family, they enjoy Friday movie nights, Sweet Frog outings, and being tourists in their local community.
