Stephanie Doyle is SEIA’s California State Affairs Director. She comes to SEIA with over 12 years of experience in energy and climate policy. Prior to her work at SEIA she spent two years as the Regulatory Director of California for Vote Solar, working to promote equitable solar policies in the state. Before moving back to her home state of California, she spent 6 and a half years in Washington D.C. working in government affairs roles at various climate and clean energy non-profit organizations including the Nature Conservancy, where she worked on a range of issues including carbon pricing, clean energy tax credits, carbon removal, natural climate solutions and other federal climate and clean energy issues. She has a Masters of Science from Johns Hopkins University in Energy and Climate policy and a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Marine Biology from University of Washington. A native of Southern California, she now lives in Oakland with her two giant dogs and spends time outside of the energy world enjoying the outdoors, volunteering for community organizations and spending time with friends and family.
