As the Manager of Grassroots and Legislative Advocacy for SEIA, Scott works with SEIA’s member companies to help them engage with Congress and advocate for federal policies to advance the solar industry and accelerate the clean energy transition. Scott brings experience from grassroots engagement, clean energy lobbying, and campaign field organizing at the local, state and federal levels. Prior to his work at SEIA, Scott served as a clean energy lobbyist with the Friends Committee on National Legislation, Engagement Specialist with Solar United Neighbors, and completed three campaign cycles in Colorado.
Scott is originally from southern Wisconsin, and he earned his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology from Fort Lewis College, in Durango, Colorado. He now lives in Washington DC, where he enjoys weight training, board games, and attending DC sporting events.
