Nick Bowman Senior Manager, Distributed Research & Market Lead 
Nick Bowman serves as Senior Manager, Distributed Research & Market Lead at SEIA. In this role, he leads the Distributed Power Team’s legislative and regulatory work in Minnesota and New Mexico, seeking to maximize the deployment of distributed solar and storage. In addition, Nick manages a multi-state community solar policy database and produces market reports for Distributed Power members of SEIA.
Previously, Nick was the Senior Manager of Markets and Research at the Coalition for Community Solar Access (CCSA). At CCSA, he also led legislative and regulatory efforts in Minnesota and New Mexico, including legislative coalition building and regulatory engagement. Prior to CCSA, Nick served as a policy analyst for the Southern Office of The Council of State Governments, covering energy and environmental policy.
Nick holds a B.A. and master’s degree from the College of Charleston and resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
