Matt Wolverton
Supply Chain and Trade Coordinator
Matt Wolverton is SEIA’s Supply Chain and Trade Coordinator and supports organizational initiatives to defend and promote domestic solar and battery supply chains at the federal level. Bringing his experience in both battery storage and EV policy, Matt is supporting SEIA in building-out strategic growth initiatives in critical minerals and materials, and advanced manufacturing. Matt is originally from South Jersey and holds a B.A. in Political Science and Environmental Studies from The George Washington University.
Prior to joining SEIA, Matt was a Policy Fellow at the Zero Emission Transportation Association (ZETA), where he contributed to congressional and federal affairs strategy. Matt had also previously interned with SEIA as an Energy Storage Policy Intern and developed resources to communicate battery storage policies, market dynamics, and state funding opportunities. Matt is finishing a Master’s in Environmental and Sustainability Policy from the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Affairs at GW.
