Julia Tilton
Communications Coordinator
Julia Tilton is the Communications Coordinator at SEIA. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where she was an Ingram Scholar. Julia earned her bachelor’s degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences and Spanish. In 2023, Julia was a delegate to the United Nations COP28 climate summit in Dubai, where she represented Vanderbilt on a United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change panel.
Julia has also worked as a journalist and podcast producer. As a former intern at NASA, she worked in the agency’s newsroom and on the Curious Universe podcast. Julia’s climate and environment reporting has been featured in news outlets from Nashville to Mexico.
Julia is committed to a career focused on the planet’s climate crisis. She grew up in southern New Hampshire and now resides in Washington, DC, where she is a burgeoning fan of the NWSL’s Washington Spirit.
