Director of Meetings and Events
Edward is responsible for SEIA’s meetings and events portfolio. He leads the team in strategizing, planning, and implementing events that support SEIA’s mission, creating experiences that are informative, engaging and memorable.
Prior to joining SEIA, Edward led teams managing some of the largest international tradeshows in the tech, travel and aviation industries at the National Business Aviation Association and the Consumer Technology Association. At NBAA he organized the first carbon neutral aviation tradeshow and continues to stay up to date on the latest event sustainability trends. He is an award-winning member of the Professional Convention Management Association.
Edward is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He earned a B.S. in Hospitality Management from James Madison University and is a Certified Meeting Professional. He lives in Washington, DC and enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, getting the most of his AMC Stubs A-list membership, and seeing live theater.
