Chelsea Neely

Director, Cybersecurity Policy

Chelsea Neely serves as the Director of Cybersecurity Policy at SEIA. She advances the security and resilience of solar and storage technologies and systems against evolving cybersecurity threats to the electric sector.

Before joining SEIA, Chelsea served as a researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory focused on the policy and practice of energy cybersecurity. There, she led projects related to cybersecurity standards, risk analysis, workforce development, and cybersecurity testing. Chelsea pivoted into energy cybersecurity after a decade of experience in the legal field. Chelsea holds a M.A. from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a B.A. from Gonzaga University. Chelsea was born and raised in Colorado, where she enjoys fishing, backpacking, hiking, and skiing with her wife and dog.
