Ben Norris is SEIA’s Vice President of Regulatory Affairs. He leads all of SEIA’s advocacy efforts on federal regulatory matters, including engagement with the White House, Department of Energy, and the Department of the Treasury. He also represents SEIA in litigation affecting the interests of the solar and storage industry.
Before joining SEIA, Ben served for ten years as senior counsel at the American Petroleum Institute where he advised on environmental and infrastructure issues. Prior to that he was an associate at a Washington, D.C. law firm representing global energy companies in litigation, regulatory, and policy matters.
Ben holds a B.A. from Rice University and a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. He lives in Washington, D.C.
