Clean Energy Pride is a community of clean energy LGBTQ+ professionals and allies working to build a more inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment within the clean energy industry through career development, networking, and professional opportunities.

CEP is a newly formed group with roots in the LGBTQ+ Reception that Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) held at Solar Power International/Smart Energy Week 2019 in Salt Lake City, which attracted 100+ LGBTQ+ community members. After that event, it became clear that there was a desire for an inclusive space for clean energy industry professionals in the LGBTQ+ community to connect and support each other through both virtual and in-person programming. All LGBTQ+ current and aspiring clean energy professionals are welcome to participate in this community.
