SEIA’s Solar in Sports report tracks the adoption of solar energy by professional sports teams across the U.S. More and more businesses are choosing solar to power their operations, and professional sports teams are no different.

Over 40 teams have installed solar on their stadiums, training facilities, or purchased solar power from an off-site system or community solar program. While the NBA boasts the largest solar total of any league, fans of all sports are taking in games powered by solar. Last year, over 40 million fans attended games at stadiums with solar installed.
