This short paper explains the community solar model, describes the typical arrangements farmers enter into with companies that build these projects, presents five case studies from different states showing the ways in which agricultural operations have benefited from community solar on their property, and offers resources to help landowners and solar farms. SEIA intends to update this document periodically and add new case studies from across the country.
