“The energy is in this show. There is demand for the products that the people at this show are selling. There is a demand for what we are doing at SEIA.”
Stephanie Bosh, Senior Vice President of Communications, SEIA
In this episode of Good Energy, co-hosts Stephanie Bosh and Seth Miller reflect on their experiences at RE+ 2025 and their takeaways from the conference. Despite headwinds for the solar and storage industry in 2025, both Bosh and Miller note the positivity amongst conference goers about the future.
Miller notes that the industry is not shying away from the need to pivot as the policy landscape changes, and the conversations happening around RE+ are addressing the future head-on. At the same time, the business side of the conference remains as vibrant as ever, with Bosh recalling how two people speaking on the same panel discovered a common business interest and are now planning to collaborate going forward. Companies are additionally innovating on the energy storage side of the industry. Miller notes the recent growth in energy storage especially in the residential solar sector.
SEIA is a co-owner of RE+, and the conference provides an apt platform for companies working within the solar and storage industry to learn about the benefits of a SEIA membership and how their membership can help strengthen the standing of the entire SEIA community. The industry has grown over the past several years, and SEIA—and its storytelling and advocacy capabilities—have grown with it. Pivoting beyond the policy setbacks of 2025, demand for clean energy remains, and the solar and storage industry isn’t going anywhere. RE+ will return to Las Vegas in November of 2026.
