Sam Taylor | The Formation of the Solar Energy Industries Association

“The Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Garmin, who came over from the Senate side, said, we’re going to go for Moonshots. And the moonshot for the buildings program was Net Zero Energy. And we scratched our heads and said, well, how are we going to do that cost effectively? And sure enough, we did. It became a reality, and that was my thrust.”

Sam Taylor, SEIA’s Co-Founder and a Clean Energy Pioneer.
