Solar Industry ‘Saddened’ by Death of Sen. Frank Lautenberg

WASHINGTON, DC – SEIA President & CEO Rhone Resch released the following statement today following the death of Sen. Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey:

“America’s solar industry is deeply saddened by the loss of Sen. Lautenberg, who dedicated much of his life to making America a better, safer and cleaner place to live. He was a true statesman in Congress, as well as a strong advocate for solar energy.  Most importantly, Sen. Lautenberg will long be remembered for his unwavering leadership on a wide range of environmental issues.  Our deepest sympathies go out to Sen. Lautenberg’s family and the people of New Jersey.”
