Presented by: Tigercomm; Community Clean Energy Coalition (CCEC)

1:00 – 5:00 PM CT

This training program will provide clean energy development professionals with valuable tools to ensure their community engagement practices are aligned with the needs and challenges of today’s politically charged atmosphere where renewable energy projects can be stalled or cancelled due to community opposition.

To build local support for clean energy projects and reach key stakeholders where they are, the industry must adopt more nimble and adaptable outreach techniques that mirror the tactics of sophisticated political campaigns.

In this half-day training, attendees will receive guidelines and insights to help improve and evolve the community engagement practices at their company, including techniques for handling tough media questions, identifying the right local stakeholders, and executing targeted digital media campaigns. Participants will also receive takeaway resource guides and access to one-on-one office hours with the training providers to dive into project-specific challenges.
