SEIA Comments to BLM regarding Arizona's Draft EIS for the Restoration Design Energy Project

On May 16, 2012, SEIA filed comments with the Bureau of Land Management Arizona state office on its proposed Restoration Design Energy Project. This program will designate areas targeted for renewable energy development on previously-disturbed lands and brownfield sites. SEIA submitted its own comments and collaborated with utility and environmental organizations on joint comments. A final decision from BLM Arizona is anticipated by the end of the year.
