The Sustainable Energy Action Committee (SEAC) is a forum for all stakeholders to collaboratively identify and find solutions for issues that affect the installation and use of solar energy systems, energy storage systems, demand response, and energy efficiency. SEIA and SEIA members actively participate in SEAC. At this meeting you will learn about SEAC Working Groups and recommendations. Topics to be covered will include:

  • Code and standard changes and guidance documents for Energy Storage Systems
  • Code changes and proposals related to solar share structures like those installed over parking lots.
  • Revisions to the National Electrical Code
  • Standard and Efficient permitting and Inspection procedures and guidelines
  • Qualified personnel
