Dana Sleeper is the Founder and CEO of The Sleeper Group, a woman-owned, Maryland-based small business that is focused on providing services through a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) lens. Dana is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) ® and has a graduate certificate from Harvard focused on corporate social responsibility. Working closely with clients, Dana assesses the current state of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and programs through various methods, including cultural assessments, people practice audits, and focus groups. Using this information, she provides recommendations on how to improve company practices. Dana also works with clients to develop DEI key performance indicators and multi-year strategic plans. In addition to her data-focused work, Dana also delivers diversity trainings, implements supplier diversity tracking programs, develops eLearning curriculum, and much more. She has developed custom training modules for nonprofits, small businesses, and large, multi-national companies in key areas including recruitment, retention, generational intelligence, diverse workplaces, and LGBTQ+ inclusion.
