The Cherrytree Group, based in Newton, Massachusetts, offers tax credit consulting, legal, accounting, brokerage and syndication services. We assist developers of all sizes, general contractors, engineers, individuals, and investment partnerships in applying for, securing, and monetizing available federal and state tax credits. We focus primarily on the Brownfields tax credit, federal and state Historic Rehabilitation tax credits, and Renewable Energy tax credits, such as the Solar Investment Tax Credit (“ITC”). The Cherrytree Group has advised and closed on over $100million of dollars in state and federal tax credits, and is the only industry competitor able to offer a team-based suite of services in-house. We strive to maximize the amount of the approved tax credits that our clients receive, as well as maintain a respectful working relationship with the state and federal tax credit regulators, which has been helpful when we are faced with difficult or hard-to-approve transactions.
