As Regional Development Manager for the Northeast, Jonathan drives partnerships and engagement to maximize member company ROI and ensure SEIA remains a responsive and effective voice for the industry.
Jonathan is a licensed attorney and graduate of Vermont Law School where he was a research fellow at the Vermont Institute for Energy and the Environment. He’s authored and co-authored several papers on the impact of DERs on the grid and the evolution of the utility business model. Jonathan has previously held roles at the U.S. Dept. of Energy Office of Electric Delivery & Energy Reliability, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission OGC, Edison Electric Institute, and just after law school, a fellowship at SEIA. Jonathan also maintains an active real estate license in DC, MD, and VA and still sells homes to his network on a referral basis. Whenever possible, Jonathan seeks out the mountains (skiing, hiking) or the sea (sailing), and finds balance by staying active in the pool or on the road (running, biking). He is also a student at the Studio Acting Conservatory in DC and can be seen on stage at various theaters in the DMV.
