Altus Power, a Greenwich, Conn.-based company that invests in, owns and manages clean energy projects, has completed five new solar power projects for schools in New Jersey. Three of the systems have been installed on the roofs of the McKinley, Redshaw and Woodrow Wilson schools in New Brunswick. These systems, totaling 760 kW, were built by ProTech along with Johnson Controls as part of a larger clean energy initiative across the New Brunswick Public School system. Cela Sinay, managing director for Altus Power, comments that collaboration “between Altus Power and public schools is a natural partnership of mutual benefit.”
