WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following is a statement from Sean Gallagher, senior vice president of policy for the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA):  The rapid growth of clean energy is our chance to repair a system that has traditionally excluded low-income and disadvantaged communities from the benefits of the energy economy. The Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund is a critical tool to both lower energy costs for residents in these communities and revitalize local economies that have been neglected for far too long. Solar and energy storage deliver clean air, cost savings and wealth-building opportunities for American families, and we're surprised that any lawmaker would attempt to undermine the programs that are helping bring these benefits to their constituents.
