Join solar and storage professionals at this in-person workshop in Austin for an in-depth review of the new and revised building and energy codes that impact solar and storage installations. Our experts will provide insight into the transition to these newer codes, identifying key considerations for designers, engineers, marketers, and policy professionals. 

Solar system design and installation is regulated by a complex and interconnected system of codes and product standards that vary by geography. This new format, 1/2 day workshop  will provide actionable guidance that enables solar firms to successfully navigate the codes environment, evaluate opportunities for market growth, and gain an advantage in marketing products and services to customers.

Our instructors are involved in the daily world of code proposal development, interpretation and application. They participate and represent industry in building, fire, energy, electrical, and structural codes and standards forums.

Attendees will be briefed on key elements of newer codes & standards, including the 2023 National Electrical Code, the 2021 International Building, Fire and related codes, and the relevant UL product safety standards and testing. You’ll also learn what’s on the horizon for the next generation of solar codes and standards, shaping the future of solar regulations. Staying informed of these developments is critical to give your company a competitive advantage in a crowded marketplace.

SEIA's Codes and Standards Symposium is co-located with RE+ Texas, in Austin Texas, April 5th - 6th 2023. Each event requires a separate registration.
