This webinar reviews NERC activities regarding Extreme Cold Weather temperature reporting. NERC filed its work plan in 2024 regarding annual Section 1600 data collection and analysis for cold weather data. Generator Owners have until June each year to submit completed extreme cold weather temperature and weatherization information. The presenters will review the NERC EOP-012 standard at a high level, explain how it these efforts relate to NERC’s recent alerts and data collections, and how IBR owner/operators can take actions to address and prepare for these conditions as well as stay in compliance.
