Grassroots and Advocacy
SEIA's government affairs team coordinates our federal lobbying efforts with strong grassroots and grass-tops efforts to advocate policies beneficial to the solar industry. Examples of our grassroots efforts include letter-writing, call-in campaigns, D.C. lobbying visits on Capitol Hill, coordinating Days of Action, and issuing Action Alerts for urgent legislative matters. SEIA has aligned with other renewable energy, environmental, corporate, financial services and energy efficiency groups. The purpose of these efforts is to create a broad coalition that supports solar industry priorities.
